Our Mission

Our primary goal is a simple one: keep our London businesses up & running! BOLT Canada’s CEO Andrew Stephenson reached out to colleague Marty Menard, Director of Business Development at Kre’Adiv House Marketing with the inspirational idea of bringing agencies together that specialize in digital business development services (i.e. web, communications, design, video, PPC, SEO, SEM) to get in the trenches with local businesses that need tangible support through these challenging times.

Small business is the beating heart of our local & national community, and for many the transition from brick-&-mortar to online service delivery is a difficult one. And with many experiencing a reduction in cash flow, there is no quick-fix that will help keep them afloat. This is where The Business Support Initiative helps. Providing businesses with actionable work, tailored to their needs and budgetary requirements, to open doors to new revenue streams and new opportunities.

Fee Deferral Strategy
The Business Support Initiative’s Fee Deferral Strategy is built on two principles: Support & Trust. We understand that in these volatile times, many businesses will greatly benefit from getting the support they need now to survive, providing them the ability to pay for services at a later agreed upon date & payment plan. If your business meets our criteria to benefit from our Fee Deferral Strategy, we will work together with each business to create a customized strategy that works for all parties.
For businesses who’s current situation isn’t dire, but still require support due to forced layoffs or other circumstances, The Business Support Initiative’s Discounted Fees Strategy can help provide tangible marketing support at a discounted rate. If your business meets our criteria to benefit from our Discounted Fees Strategy, we will work together with each business to create a customized strategy that works for all parties.

In-Kind Services
The Business Support Initiative will support businesses through in-kind marketing services of up to $1000.00 based on financial eligibility. In-Kind Services are only offered to those businesses already able to take advantage of either our Fee Deferral or Discounted Fees Strategies.

Eligibility & Selection

In the interest of fairness, we will require each business to fill out a detailed application form located on our website. Each business that applies will be assessed on the information they have provided us to ensure that our support is allocated to the businesses in our community that need it the most.

Once the eligibility criteria has been met, a series of remote interviews will follow to determine which services that business needs most, and the fee structure that best supports their successful transition to online service delivery, for both now and in the future.
  • 1. Business must be currently operating a bricks-&-mortar location (open or closed).
  • 2. Able to demonstrate a significant decrease in revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic by sharing limited financial information.
  • 3. Able to demonstrate business has been viable for a minimum of one year.
  • 4. Must be willing to go through an extensive interview process.
  • 5. Must be open to collaborative working relationship.

Services Offered

To evaluate each business’s unique needs & competencies, The Business Support Initiative will begin with a free consultation and strategy session to determine which services best support your business's successful transition to online service delivery, both now and in the future.
